Who Is Mizuki Shinagawa on BGT 2026?
Mizuki Shinagawa (品川 瑞木) is a 28-year-old aerialist from Tokyo, Japan, widely regarded as one of the most talented and innovative performers in modern aerial arts.
Inspired by the anime Kaleido Star as a child, she began training in gymnastics and contortion before specialising in aerial silks.
She trained at the prestigious École Nationale de Cirque in Montréal, Canada, graduating in 2018.
Since then, she has built an impressive international career, performing with the world-famous Cirque du Soleil — most notably in the acclaimed show KOOZA, where she delivers a powerful and confident solo aerial silks act.

- Bronze Medal at the 40th Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain in Paris (2019) — the first bronze ever awarded in the Aerial Silks category.
