Age
You must be 18 years of age or older at the time you submit your application. There is no upper age limit.
Citizenship or Permanent Residency
The casting form asks: “Are you an Australian Citizen or an Australian Permanent Resident?” The answer must be Yes. Temporary visa holders do not qualify.
Availability for Melbourne Filming
All auditions and filming take place at Docklands Studios, Melbourne. You must be available at relatively short notice and cover your own travel and accommodation.
Prior Television Appearances & Legal History
You must disclose any previous TV appearances and answer the three legal questions honestly (criminal history, bail/probation, bankruptcy). Transparency is essential.
How to Apply: The 4 Stages of the Casting Form
The application is free and available at the official casting portal. It saves your progress. You will receive a unique applicant number — keep it safe.
Stage 1: Personal Information
Prepare your full legal details, occupation, languages, cultural background, and family/partner information. If applying with someone, mention them clearly (each person needs their own form).
Stage 2: About You – Personality & Stories
This is the most important section. Answer all personality questions in complete sentences. Be honest, specific, and engaging.
The 3 Stories for Grant (Most Important Part)
Provide three stories (2–4 lines each) that Grant could discuss on air. Use full paragraphs — no dot points.
Best story types: Funny/embarrassing, heartfelt/life-defining, and unusual/surprising.
Stage 3: The Game Section
Explain why you want to be on the show, what you’d do with the prize money, your risk tolerance (1–5), and back everything with real examples.

Stage 4: Media, Social Media & Legal
- Upload a clear recent photo (max 10MB)
- Submit a 20–30 second video (strongly recommended)
