Audition Script 1

Hi there, I’m Juan Fernando Gomez, or Fernando for short or Nando for even shorter because it is a bit of a mouthful.

I’m a 36 year old firefighter from southeast London, Peckham and I desperately need your help to find true love because my past relationships haven’t gone too well.

A bit about me first. I’m the first. What people use to describe me is father. I think my daughter is my absolute world.

She’s my inspiration and the reason I wake up every morning. She’s had a real tough year, bless her.

She suffers from anorexia and she’s really struggled but she’s such a fire, such an inspiration to me and I love her with all my heart. Everything I do is for her. As for me, I’m tend to be loud, bubbly out there.

Got diagnosed with ADHD this year, which makes a lot of sense. And even sort of noticing from the season of mass at UK where it got people, a couple of people who suffer from ADHD, when I say suffer, who have ADHD, that can be suffering.

But yeah, it’s it makes a hell of a lot of sense when it comes to me. So I find that this year was actually such a relief with it comes to previous relationships where I suffered so badly. I have a big heart and tend to be there for people.

I’m even mental health first aid or at work, tend to be there for everyone. I can be. And I think the previous relationships have the same pattern of constantly looking for women who have had, say, traumatic experiences and fortunately still carry it with them.

And subconsciously I was looking to see that I can make their life better in a sense that I can show them what it’s like to be in a true relationship, show them what it’s like to have true love, almost like a hero complex.

One of the reasons came with firefighters to help people and unfortunately it hasn’t worked when they brought their previous relationship trauma into mine and had their relationships, the last few especially.

And the last one was very traumatic and the darkest year of my life where I was assaulted, abused sexually and almost killed. But I’ve got through that.

I’m in a hell of an amazing place now and I’m ready to find true love with your expert help because I keep following those patterns and I need you to help me get out of them. So please, please, please find it in your heart to help me out. Thank you.

Audition Script 2

Hi, my name is Shen and I’m 27 and I am ready for love. I’m ready for my husband, I’m ready for my significant other. My name. I’ve applied for Married at First Sight UK because I do believe the experts can find the one for me.

I’m guessing my judgement hasn’t been so great so I’m sure science will do much better job. Recently I have had surgery which was quite traumatic for me. It sort of opened my eyes to realise what I want and what I need. I have been quite lonely but due to being an independent woman I choose to push that back where I don’t really want to ignore those feelings anymore.

I want my person, I want someone next to me, and I’m just so ready to live that life of sharing and caring. I do have a six year old Princess and I also would love for her to grow up in a family household and experience what it’s like to have two people to depend on instead of maybe just one.

And I’ve believed that the experts can bring me to that. So I’m hoping that he is out there for me and it will be science that brings us together.

Audition Script 3

Hello, So some reasons I will be open to this kind of process is basically because I just feel it is getting very hard to find a connection because most things are done through social media or apps where women have a lot of options because the men just throw themselves at them. So a lot of women in my age group would kind of be used to just guys pandering to them. So they kind of have high expectations and filter out the people they’re not interested in.

And it’s hard for them to commit to one when they have so many options. And through all my experiences, I just find that something like this would kind of push you into that kind of requirement that you have to give something a chance. So maybe it’s going to take something like that to make a connection happen. I’m very easygoing when it comes to things like that. So I mean, I’m just ready to go for the ride and see how it plays out optimally.

If you meet someone you like and it all goes to plan, then obviously that’s good. But if it doesn’t, then you can still try to make the best of the situation. And even for just the experience, I find it’s also better to go for these things while you’re still in your youth because any positive physical traits I may possess will obviously be deteriorated the older I get.


I feel as though something like this would really suit me and I would really flourish when it comes to TV time because I seem to draw attention whenever I go outside and all that. So I’m just saying that maybe for the show it would be beneficial to have me included. So anyway, keep me in contention before I play for Love Island and choose them ahead of you.
